WCAG 2.2 AA Standard

Accessibility

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.

Our commitment and standard

We have built it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had it independently tested against that standard, so we are not claiming formal conformance — we will publish the results here when we have.

On a site that exists to build websites for consultants and private clinics, accessibility is not an afterthought: it is a demonstration of our standard of work.

Accessibility measures in our build

  • Keyboard navigation: Every interactive link, button, and input is fully reachable and operable via keyboard, with a persistent visible focus outline (3px violet, 2px offset).
  • Semantic HTML: Real semantic elements (<a>, <button>, <input>) throughout; no click handlers on non-interactive containers.
  • Touch target size: All interactive buttons exceed the 44px minimum touch target (standard buttons are 52px).
  • Color contrast: All text meets or exceeds contrast ratios of 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large display headings on paper grounds.
  • Responsive tables: Comparison and data tables scroll smoothly horizontally rather than compressing on narrow screens, and table containers are focusable for keyboard users.
  • Skip to content: Accessible skip-links allow screen readers and keyboard users to bypass navigation.
