What this site is, and what it is not
This site describes our services and publishes guidance about setting up and running a private practice. It is general information, offered in good faith.
It is not professional advice. Nothing on this site — including our free guides — is legal, tax, regulatory, insurance, financial or clinical advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from someone qualified who knows your circumstances. Rules change, and what is right for one practice is wrong for another. If a decision matters, take proper advice on it.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Our services are provided under a separate written agreement, and the descriptions and prices on this site may change. Where anything on this site differs from a signed engagement agreement, the agreement governs.
Our content
Everything on this site — the words, the design, the logos and the guides — belongs to us or to the people who licensed it to us. Practiva, Practiva Launch and Practiva Grow are our trade marks.
You may read the site and print or download a copy of anything on it for your own use, or for use within your own practice. You may not republish it, sell it, pass it off as your own or use it commercially without asking us first. We are usually happy to say yes.
Using the site properly
Please do not misuse the site: no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no introducing anything malicious, no scraping, and no using it in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use.
Links
Where we link to other websites, we do so because we thought they were useful. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they contain.
Availability
We try to keep the site available, but we do not promise it will always be so. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
Otherwise, and because this site is provided for business use, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything published on it.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy notice, and how we use cookies in our cookie policy.
Changes, and the law that applies
We may amend these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
