Privacy notice

This notice explains what we do with personal information when you visit practiva.uk, make an enquiry, book a call or download one of our guides. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated: October 2026

Who we are

Practiva Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17454196, with a registered office at [REGISTERED OFFICE].

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference [ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER].

If you have a question about this notice or about how we handle your information, write to privacy@practiva.uk.

Please do not send us patient information

Our forms and our inbox are not a secure route for clinical information. Please do not include patient names, patient details or any clinical information in an enquiry, a form or an email to us. If you do, we will delete it and tell you that we have.

What we collect

When you contact us or book a call: Your name, email address, your profession or specialty, where you practise, whether you are starting out or already established, and anything else you choose to tell us. A telephone number if you give us one — it is optional.

When you download a guide: Your first name, email address, profession or specialty, and whether you are starting out or already established. We also record whether you asked to hear from us again, and which guide you asked for.

When you use the website: Information your browser sends us, including your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you looked at and how you arrived. Where this involves cookies, we only collect it if you agree — see our cookie policy.

If you become a client: The information we need to run your engagement, including your practice details and billing information. Clients receive a fuller privacy notice at the point of engagement.

Marketing

We will only email you about our services if you asked us to. Ticking the box is optional, it is never a condition of downloading anything, and you can stop it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to privacy@practiva.uk.

If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your email address on a suppression list. That is the only way to make sure we do not email you again by accident.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We use a small number of suppliers who process information on our behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it secure and use it only for what we have asked: hosting providers for website hosting, email platforms to send our emails, booking calendar tools for call bookings, analytics tools to understand how the site is used, and our accountants and professional advisers where necessary.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it.

Where your information is held

Our suppliers may store information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on the UK government’s adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Addendum, so that your information keeps the protection it has here.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you; to have it corrected if it is wrong; to have it deleted; to ask us to restrict how we use it; to object to our using it where we rely on legitimate interests; to receive it in a portable form; and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these, write to privacy@practiva.uk. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.

We do not make any decisions about you by automated means.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, or at ico.org.uk.
